My association with Utkalamrita is less than a year old (and 2 sarees old! She ( yes) was my discovery over one of my random musings on the internet, while trying to find some authentic Orissa Saree Sellers. I should say I got lucky. The pricing is reasonable ( I can say this because the exact two sarees that I bought from Utkalamrita were available with other virtual vendors who had priced it unreasonably high). While our intention is to encourage handmade and handlooms, it becomes our responsibility to ensure we are wise and smart in picking the right brand. Instagram influencers play a BIG role in this .
